On top of our work that we are doing with the Mangrove Foundation on women empowerment, we recognize the difficulties of breaking into VC as well as giving every founder a chance to get in touch with investors. We want the VC community to be diverse and open to everyone. Therefore, we have developed the Mangrove Fellows program, are a proud partner of Included VC and provide feedback to founders via our #EasyVC initiative.

Healthcare Reimagined 2020
'Healthcare Reimagined' examines how broad adoption of mobile computing and advances in artificial intelligence are driving a much-needed revolution in healthcare - a vast sector which is archaic, capital intensive and, in many ways, broken.
At Mangrove, we believe digital health represents one of the very largest opportunities for value creation. But we won't be betting on clinicians to transform the sector. History has shown that industries are not reinvented by incumbents. Just like any other industry, healthcare is best revolutionized from the outside and not from within.

The Mangrove Fellows is an ongoing initiative where each year we select two university students to intern for a 6 month period each and support our investment team in our Luxembourg and Berlin office. This is a rare opportunity to learn about the venture business, gain professional experience in the space, and discover deep insights into our diverse portfolio of companies. We are working with several partners such as HEC Paris. We recognize the difficulties of entering the VC world and strongly encourage people from all kinds of backgrounds to apply!
The September 2023 batch has already been selected.

Included VC is a fellowship that aims to promote diversity in the VC industry. During the 12 month program, the 40 Fellows gain education and insider access to Europe's top venture capital firms and their portfolio companies. We are proud to support this fellowship since its launch. The fellowship encompasses masterclasses, career workshops, 2 retreats as well as investment committee simulations and mentoring sessions.

Feedback is key for any early business. That is why we are building a community where European start-up founders can meet VCs and other entrepreneurs to share their stories and receive benevolent feedback.
#EasyVC is an online community based on a series of meetups and open office hours across various European cities. The events are free-to-attend and feature Europe's best VCs, female founders and CEOs who will provide practical advice and best practices on starting a start-up or a career in tech.
If you’re thinking about starting a company or are in the early stages of building one, we would love to meet you! You’ll have the opportunity to meet tech founders from your region at various stages of building their companies and the investors who funded them.
